Alpin Club Similaun

Dear mountain enthusiasts,

For me climbing a mountain means experiencing a special feeling of liberty, going beyond one’s own boundaries and exploring new things.
The various impressions around my home village Vent are what make its landscape so fascinating. From the glaciers, the Eternal Ice to the rocky scenery, to waterfalls which cascade down the valley, to the magnificent peaks in the Ötztaler Alpen: one overwhelming mountain experience after the other. That was also the basis for the idea of founding the Alpine Club Similaun: we wanted to present this wonderful variety to our guests.

Whoever wishes to walk new paths needs the knowledge of those who have already been there. As trained mountain guides, we will not only show you the fascinating world of our mountains but also how to deal with dangers correctly. Safety is our first principle.
