Summer activities - Oetztal valley

Mountaineering enthusiasts are in their element here in our region.

Numerous mountain hut shelters can easily be reached via the hiking paths and represent an ideal starting point for alpine mountaineering and glacier tours in the area. Luis, Markus, Thomas and Gerhard, all of them trained mountain guides, look forward to accompanying you on the weekly guided tours. A particular experience, with overnight stay, is the visit to the place where ‘Ötzi’ was found directly above the Similaun Alpine Hut.

  • Guided hiking tours several times a week

  • 2 day tour with overnight stay in mountain hut – e.g. to our private Similaun Alpine Hut at an altitude of 3,019 metres, visiting the spot where ’Ötzi‘ – the prehistoric man in the glacier – was discovered.

    • * Our weekly programme is put together at short notice depending on the weather.
